Annual final graduation exhibition
The UTAS Tasmanian School of Art’s annual final graduation exhibition is opening this Friday night, showcasing a year’s worth of hard work.
The Graduates exhibition features the work of students from a wide variety of studios and mediums, including graphic design, painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture.
The final year exhibition has become a highlight of the local visual arts calendar and a chance to spot Tassie’s next generation of creative talent.
This year there are around 70 graduating students exhibiting, with a catalogue designed by the School of Arts’ Visual Communication students accompanying the exhibition.
Official opening: The exhibition will be officially opened at the Art School, Hunter Street, on Friday 9 November 2012 at 5.30pm, by Professor Noel Frankham, Arts. The exhibition will continue to be open to view on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 November from 10am to 4.30pm.
