Learn tips and tricks for gaining grants
The TUU Postgraduate Council and TasPostgrads March 2012 are presenting a skills workshop on grant/fellowship writing.
A follow-up to the July 2011 Skills workshop by Dom Geraghty entitled How to get grants, this workshop will delve even further into the writing process.
Professor Emily Hilder and Ms Elise Grosser will be guest speakers.
Both speakers have vast experience in application writing and will be sharing their successful secrets during this 1.5 hour workshop.
Prof. Hilder from the School of Chemistry is one of the most successful grant recipients at the University of Tasmania and a winner of numerous awards for research excellence.
Ms. Elise Grosser, from the Faculty of Arts, is highly regarded in advising and proof-reading grant applications.
A must-attend workshop for any postgraduate or staff member.
The workshop will take place 3:30pm- 5:30pm on Friday 30th March 2012 will also be videoconferenced to all three campuses: Hobart, Launceston, and Cradle Coast (live from Hobart).
