Express PlusStudents now available for Android
More students will be able to manage their Centrelink payment 'on the go' with the Express PlusStudents app now available for Android devices.
The app has created an easy way for students to report income, update study details and check their payment - without waiting in queues on the phone, or at an office.
Minister for Human Services Senator Kim Carr said almost 40,000 students receiving Youth Allowance, Austudy or ABSTUDY had already downloaded the iPhone version of the app since its launch in August.
"The app has already been a huge success with students using an iPhone so I'm very pleased to announce that the app is now available to thousands of new users," Senator Carr said.
Express PlusStudents is now available to download from the App Store or Google Play.
Students must be registered for online services in order to access the app. To register for Centrelink Online Services and to find out more about Express Plus Students, go to humanservices.gov.au/expressplus
