The new location was launched by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students and Education) Professor David Sadler.
UTAS Career Advisor Christian Ellston said the new home of the career’s service now has a handy space to run group workshops for students.
“This will allows us to deliver our services to students in a more responsive manner.”
“Students can drop into workshops with their lap tops.”
The Career Resource Centre runs a variety of handy workshops, from how to write resumes, cover letters and selection criteria, to how to hone job interview skills or prepare for professional placement.
“We act as that link between employers and students, bringing them together to improve graduate outcomes for students,” he said.
“We also do faculty- specific workshops and we work strongly with employers.”
Career Development and Employment’s weekly workshops in the Career Resource Centre run on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Weekly workshops are also run in Launceston on Thursdays in the Flex Area.
Numbers are limited so don’t forget to book your attendance at any of these workshops on CareerHub.

Monday 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Tuesday, 12pm - 2pm
Wednesday, 10am - 4pm
Thursday, 12pm - 2pm
Friday 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 3pm
