MyLO 2012 LMS Project
The MyLO 2012 LMS Project was established to implement the selected replacement Learning Management System (LMS) for UTAS.
The implementation of the Desire2Learn Learning Environment at UTAS will support Technology Enhanced Learning and Teaching (TELT) by providing a core online learning and teaching environment that is robust, reliable and intuitive to use, and that integrates seamlessly with current services. The new MyLO will be adaptable, facilitating a full range of learning and teaching approaches, disciplines and contexts.
The system will evolve as new learning and teaching needs and opportunities arise.
In Semester 2, 2012 there will be a limited number of units able to be accessed through the new MyLO system. A staged training program is currently in the process of being rolled out.
Support will be made available once the training has been undertaken. The support available to students will include telephone and email support as well as self-help guides.
The MyLO 2012 project website, http://www.web-services.utas.edu.au/mylo-2012 will be updated with progress of the project. Please check regularly for opportunities to be involved. If you have any queries, concerns or ideas around moving to the new MyLO please do not hesitate to contact the MyLO 2012 Project Team through mylo.2012@utas.edu.au.
