Research Professional is a new online funding opportunities database which provides researchers with the opportunity to search for research funding in all disciplines, from a wide range of sponsors in Australia and overseas.
The Research Division has recently signed up with Research Professional. Access to the site is free for all University of Tasmania employees and students. To help manage searches more effectively, profiles can be set up at both the personal and Research Team/School/Faculty level.
Research Professional has a user-friendly interface and also features powerful searching and customisation tools which are designed to assist in searching for research funding.
All of the funding opportunities in the database have been eligibility verified for Australian researchers.
Apart from the comprehensive list of funding opportunities the database also provides expertise and in-depth news coverage of research policy and debates, making it a preferred funding opportunities database across many Australian and international universities.
