The popular UTAS debate series, The Jury’s Out, is back with two new hot topics to discuss.
Debate number 1, “Science Week: The House moves that art not science will save the world”, will take place on Monday 12 August.
Speakers include: Jan Davis, UTAS graduate Lyndon Riggall, Alderman Jeremy Ball, UTAS’ Professor Roger Fay, Geoff Frost and Andrew McIndoe, with Dr Polly McGee, Australian Innovation Research Centre, as MC.
Debate number 2, “Population Growth: The House moves that bigger is better for Tasmania”, will take place on Monday 2 September.
Speakers include: Professor Julianne Schultz, Senator Peter Whish-Wilson, Alexandre de Blas, Phil Bayley, Allan Garcia and ABC’s Roisin McCann as MC.

Venue: Annexe Theatre, Inveresk
Time: 7pm debates start, 9pm post-debate drinks and finger food
