UTAS Home › › Current Students › Student Services and Amenities Fee SSAF › Fee Schedule - 2014
The table below provides the fee schedule for the University of Tasmania for 2014. The total fee payable will depend on student cohort (type) and whether students have a full-time (defined as greater than 75% load) or part-time (defined as 75% or less load) enrolment.
Please Note: Failure to pay or defer payment of your SSA fee by the due date may result in enrolment penalties. Academic Senate Rule 3 – Admission and Student Progress (par 3.9 Payment of Fees) allows for the imposition of penalties where fees or other monies charged are not paid.
An amount for the provision of student services and amenities is incorporated into the annual tuition fees for international fee paying students commencing in 2013 and no additional payment is required.
There are a small number of exemptions and these include students undertaking enabling programs or senior secondary students enrolling through the UTAS College program. The UTAS policy on SSAF, including exemptions, can be viewed at: Student Services and Amenities Fee Policy (PDF 202.3 KB)
An invoice will be generated twice per year and relates to the enrolment load for that period. The first period includes any units with a census date between 1 January to 30 June 2014 and the second period is for units with a census date between 1 July to 31 December 2014. If you vary your enrolment prior to a unit census date, your SSAF invoice will also be adjusted to reflect any relevant change in load. Changes made after the census date for a unit will not adjust the enrolment load or the amount of SSAF charged for that period.
