This area of the North East coast was mapped in 2004 area as part of a Fisheries Research and Development Corporation project. One unique feature about this data set is the first application of side scan sonar for the SeaMap Tasmania team. You will notice that within the swath areas that the pattern and fragmentation of the reef is visable. This mapset now includes the habitats of Georges Bay.
