Penny Smith is a practising ceramic artist running her own studio for commissions, exhibitions, one-offs and limited production. Penny often collaborates on public art projects and writes for national/international professional journals.
Penny Smith is currently employed in joint research work with John Smith on Large ARC Discovery project investigating contemporary Tasmanian studio furniture and has recently co-curated major contemporary studio furniture exhibition that has travelled internationally.
