Fees

Once your application is processed, you may be offered a Commonwealth Supported Place in the course, this gives you the opportunity to defer your fees through HECS-HELP.  

School of Visual and Performing Arts Domestic* Tuition $733.50 * For Commonwealth Supported Students who wish to pay their fee upfront, the fee is less 10% = $659.95*
School of Architecture and Design Domestic* Tuition $1045.38 * For Commonwealth Supported Students who wish to pay their fee upfront, the fee is less 10% = $940.84*

* Domestic Tuition fee only applies specifically to the Tasmanian Creative Arts 2013 Summer School workshops and not any other University of Tasmania units and up-front payment is only available for Australian citizens. NZ citizens, Permanent Residents and International students are not entitled to the upfront payment discount.

UTAS International Students

Currently enrolled UTAS International Students may apply for a place in one of the Creative Tasmania Summer School workshops. Fees for currently enrolled International students are calculated by study load based on the annual fee for their current course of study. Please contact the International Services Office for specific information relating to your fees.

Materials and Equipment


Please note the tuition fee does not include the cost of materials or equipment. This consumable fee for each workshop will be listed in December.

Cancellation

The University of Tasmania's School of Visual and Performing Arts and the School of Architecture & Design reserve the right to cancel the School or a class due to unforeseen circumstances. In this instance a full refund will be sent to participants.

Late Applications


Applications close 14 December 2012.Late applications after 14 December may be accepted depending on available places in nominated workshops. Please contact Tasmanian Creative Arts for late application information.

Monday 7 January - Friday 18 January 2013 9.00am - 4.00pm classes, studio days and final exhibition occur within this period
  

Accommodation

The UTAS Accommodation Services offers Summer School guests a variety of options and locations to stay at. Please contact UTAS Accommodation Services for current rates. Onsite parking is available close to all residences.
