We are opening the doors to our Sydney campuses in Rozelle and Darlinghurst with a series of free hands-on workshops so you can experience what it will be like to study Nursing or Paramedic Practice at the University of Tasmania.
We will also have information sessions and expert advice available so you can learn more about a career in health.
Experience what it is like to work as a nurse with hands-on activities and learn about the number of tasks nurses are required to juggle, and some of the common scenarios they face. Put your practical nursing skills to the test to help you decide whether Nursing is the career for you.
We offer a two-year fast-track degree in Rozelle and Darlinghurst. As a student, you will work with experienced industry partners including hospitals, local health districts and aged care facilities in Sydney, giving you the hands-on practice that employers value and actively look for in graduates.
Paramedic Practice Workshops
Learn about a career in Paramedicine through the eyes of a paramedic. There will be hands-on activities and opportunities to ask questions about life as a student studying Paramedic Practice.
We offer a two-year fast-track degree and prepare students with opportunities to learn in simulated environments and in the real world. Students practice in the University's ambulance simulation vans and at various ambulance stations and other specialist health facilities, like hospitals and aged care.
If you are compassionate, committed and want to make a difference in your community then a career in Paramedicine may be right for you.
The workshops are open to Year 11-12 students and older. In order to attend one of our Health workshops you will need to register. Places are limited so get in quick!
