The conference will be held on Thursday, 28th November. Workshops will be offered the following day, Friday 29th November. If you would like to attend the workshops, please make sure you select this option in your registration as there are limited spaces available. Places will be allocated on a 'first come first served' basis.
When you register for Teaching Matters 2013, you will be given the option to submit an extended abstract or a poster proposal through this process. If needed, you will be able to return to your registration and edit your details, including changes to your submissions (up until the closing date of 1st October 2013). Once this date has passed, no changes can be made to the submission. Details regarding abstract and poster submissions are available.
As you may know, each years conference works slightly differently than previous years'. This year one of the conference streams (which will include the keynotes) will be available to Newnham and Cradle Coast staff via video-link. Staff located on these campuses can choose to travel to Hobart for the conference, or to watch the streaming links on their home-campus.
Staff travelling from the northern campuses are encouraged to use the bus (Launceston staff) and cars (Cradle Coast staff) provided by the Tasmanian Institute of Learning and Teaching. The conference program will be printed on 100% recycled paper and items such as conference badge holders and Teaching Matters pens will be recycled from previous conferences.
Please feel free to contact the Tasmanian Institute of Learning and Teaching reception on (03) 6226 7251 or teaching.matters@utas.edu.au if you have any enquiries, or would like any assistance with the registration process.
We look forward to seeing you at Teaching Matters 2013.
