Welcome to the fifth annual Teaching Matters conference, a conference dedicated to teaching and learning at UTAS. Teaching Matters provides a forum within the busy academic calendar when we focus solely on our teaching. It is an opportunity to meet staff from across the university and exchange ideas about a discipline we all share in common – university teaching and learning.

Teaching Matters has consistently exceeded expectations in attendance and participant satisfaction. I am looking forward to another successful event this year and hope that you will join me in showcasing our commitment to teaching and learning at UTAS.
