About Teaching Matters 2009

Partnerships for Learning : On Campus and Beyond

The 2009 Teaching Matters Conference provides UTAS staff with the opportunity to share and showcase teaching and learning partnerships.

The theme of this year’s conference is about acknowledging and sharing the teaching and learning partnerships that staff have been, or are currently involved in.

These partnerships may be 'on-campus' - in the classroom (for example between you and your students or between students themselves) or they may transcend traditional discipline and classroom boundaries (with colleagues within your School, across different schools or even different campuses). The partnerships may also be 'beyond the campus'.

Where you are engaged in teaching and learning initiatives with your UTAS colleagues, with other institutions, industry, or the broader community, we invite you to share these with your colleagues at this year's conference.

Registration

Registration for Teaching Matters is free and provides registrants with admission to all sessions on the day, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

A free bus will be available to transport staff from Launceston to and from Hobart on the 26th November. The bus will depart Newnham at 7:00am and depart from the Sandy Bay Campus at 4.45pm.
