Teaching Matters 2009

Partnerships for Learning : On Campus and Beyond

November 26thThe 2009 Teaching Matters Conference provides UTAS staff with the opportunity to share and showcase teaching and learning partnerships which transcend traditional discipline and classroom boundaries.

The partnerships may be “on-campus” across different schools or campuses or they may be “beyond the campus,” where you are engaged in teaching and learning initiatives with other institutions, industry, or the broader community.

Teaching Matters will be held on the 26th November in the University Centre, Hobart.

Registration

Registration for Teaching Matters is free and provides registrants with admission to all sessions on the day, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

A free bus will be available to transport staff from Launceston to and from Hobart on the 26th November. The bus will depart Newnham at 7:00am and depart from the Sandy Bay Campus at 4.45pm.

Hilary WinchesterProfessor Hilary Winchester is Pro Vice Chancellor: Strategy and Planning at the University of South Australia.

Her responsibilities as a member of the Senior Management Group include strategic planning, load, quality, staff equity, particularly gender equity and Indigenous staffing, and line management of major service units: Information Strategy and Technology Services, Planning and Assurance Services, and the Centre for Regional Engagement which includes the University’s Northern Adelaide Partnerships (UNAP) unit.
