Teaching Matters 2009

Program Submissions and Important Dates

Submissions around this year’s theme: Partnerships for Learning – on campus and beyond, may include:

Papers

Paper presentations may be submitted for peer review. Presentations will be 20 minutes in length. See below for instructions on how to prepare your paper. Please note if you are not submitting a paper to be refereed there is no requirement to provide a full paper to the conference participants.

You only need to complete the Presentation Proposal Form and send it to teaching.matters@utas.edu.au. If your proposal is accepted, your abstract will be printed in the Conference Program and you may choose to provide participants with a paper on the day if you would like to.

Posters

Submitted by abstract. Poster authors will be invited to discuss their work with colleagues during a 30 minute interactive poster session during which morning tea will be served. Guidelines for posters are on the website.

CALT is also publishing a collection of Case Studies from UTAS staff to coincide with Teaching Matters 2009. We hope to showcase the diverse and innovative ways that UTAS is forging partnerships for learning on campus and in the broader community.

Case Studies

Case Study submissions are invited in accordance with the template available on the website. Authors who wish to write up their Case Study as a refereed paper, present their Case Study or provide a poster should submit this separately.

All Staff are invited to submit Case Studies whether or not you plan to present your work as a paper or poster presentation at this year’s conference.
