About Teaching Matters
Teaching Matters is the major showcase for learning and teaching at UTAS. Now in its sixth year, the conference provides an excellent opportunity to discuss ideas and innovations, recognise success in teaching and learning, showcase innovations and engender enthusiasm for excellence in learning and teaching. It also provides a relaxed atmosphere with opportunities for participants to move between a variety of sessions, talk to presenters, and build networks among colleagues. Teaching Matters is an internal conference open to UTAS academic, general and sessional staff involved in and/or interested in learning and teaching.
The conference began in 2002 and has consistently attracted over 200 UTAS staff. The 2007 conference 'Showcasing Innovation' included:
- posters from each Faculty showcasing a selected innovation,
