The University has established a Teaching Facilities Management Group (TFMG) which has responsibility for identifying needs and demands for teaching facilities, seeking input from staff and students and making recommendations on such matters as priorities for upgrading centrally managed learning spaces and the development of policy and guidelines for the management of teaching and learning facilities.
The TFMG will meet once a semester, and more often as appropriate. It will be broadly responsible for coordinating the identification, discussion and resolution of strategic issues relating to learning facilities, and for making recommendations to relevant committees, through the Pro Vice-Chancellor (T&L) and the Executive Director, Finance and Administration regarding policy, standards and facilities development.
