The University is committed to improving its teaching and learning facilities. Significant work is being undertaken by Asset Management Services (AMS) to identify underutilised learning spaces, and measures to improve the utilisation rate, such as audio visual fitout and improved functionality (size, layout, etc) are being implemented.
AMS liaises closely with the Flexible Education Unit and Information Technology Resources to ensure an organisational approach to the management of these key teaching and learning infrastructure assets.

The University is currently planning for satellite learning hubs for the Newnham and Sandy Bay Campuses and for the Centre for the Arts.
