Rethinking agriculture: From on-farm productivity to agri-food profitability

Join us at the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture's annual flagship event, showcasing the institute's world-class research, development and extension.

The program schedule includes details of the day's events including presenters, panel discussions, the full list of cafe table discussion groups, and information about TIA's Centre presentations and expo.

Panel Discussions: Key speakers from government agencies, industry representatives, peak bodies and NGOs will lead discussion on two topics – Food Systems and the Value Chain and Irrigation.
Cafe Table Discussion Groups: Eight cafe table groups focused on topical issues in the industry and themes related to TIA's Programs. The aim of these discussions is for staff and stakeholders to discuss, engage, problem-solve and develop outcomes.
Centre Expo Sessions: Each of TIA's five Centres will host a 20-minute presentation at staggered intervals. Each centre will man a stall with staff and information. There will also be stalls focused on irrigation, the roles farms play in industry engagement, and the Centre for Food Innovation.
