Held at The Tramsheds Function Centre, 4 Invermay Road, Launceston TAS

At the TIA Future Forum, we will share ideas and aspirations for future research, development and extension (RD&E) for agriculture and food sectors.

The discussions will focus on a new and exciting area of collaborative research involving all disciplines across the University of Tasmania - BioEconomy for Society - and what this means for future research opportunities.

The Forum aims to create interest and excitement about the future of agriculture and food RD&E and demonstrate how TIA is responding to changes in its operating environment since its establishment more than 20 years ago.

Speakers will include senior academics from all Colleges, as well as presentations focused on TIA's areas of expertise in fields such as AgTech, water governance and food safety.
