The Director and Dr Terry Narramore (School of Government) gave a presentation to the Energy and Communications Australia (ETTA) Counter-terrorism Workshop in Hobart on 27 July 2004.

The Director and Vanessa Goodwin (DPEM) presented a paper at the Societies of Criminology Key Issues Conference in Paris, 13-15 May 2004. The paper was titled U-Turn: Diverting Young People from Vehicle Theft in Tasmania and was well received by a substantial audience at this international conference.

Inspector Matthew Richman (DPEM) gave a presentation at Lawfest 2004. The paper was titled Policing in the Contemporary Environment.
