Making Crime a Development Issue Presented by Dr Jarrett Blaustein

Jarrett_BlausteinThe Criminology, Law and Police Studies (CLP) research group presented a free seminar ‘Making Crime a Development Issue’ in the Harvard Lecture Room, Sandy Bay Campus, on 10 November.

Invited presenter Dr Jarrett Blaustein talked about his research on crime and development.

Dr Blaustein is Lecturer of Criminology at Monash University. He is the author of Speaking Truths to Power: Policy Ethnography and Police Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina which was published by Oxford University Press in 2015 and his work has appeared in a number of leading criminology journals including, most recently, the British Journal of Criminology, the International Journal of Drug Policy, and Theoretical Criminology. He is currently writing a book on the history of the crime-development nexus with Nathan Pino and that under-contract with Rowman and Littlefield International.
