TILES on Program Committee at the International Conference on Law Enforcement & Public Health in Amsterdam

The successful 3rd International Conference on Law Enforcement & Public Health (LEPH2016), was for the second time hosted in Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2-5 October. Over 180 international speakers and facilitators converged to explore and discuss the diverse and complex issues facing the intersection of law enforcement and public health at the De Meervaart Conference Centre.

The conference provided a platform for over 60 specialised sessions, including 20 practical Marketplace of ideas, and attracted great support from various international organisations, including from TILES.

TILES is a Member of the Global LEPH Research Network, and is engaged in a partnership with the Centre for Law Enforcement & Public Health whose Director, Professor Nick Croft, was the LEPH2016 Conference Convener.

For this event, Dr Isabelle Bartkowiak-Theron and Associate Professor Roberta Julian were invited to be on the LEPH2016 Program committee. Associate Professor Julian also chaired the Leadership and Partnerships session, and delivered a presentation on Exploring law enforcement and public health (LEPH) as a collective impact initiative.
