This 2nd Annual Conference was organised by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Evidence Based Policing (ANZSEBP) in partnership with the Queensland Police Service, KPMG, University of Queensland and the AIPM. This event brought together speakers and participants to examine how Evidence Based Policing can move beyond the rhetoric to practice.

Associate Professor Julian's extensive research in forensic science and the interactions and interfaces between forensic science, medicine and law enforcement (in adult and child sexual assault cases), are underpinned by evidence based approaches and practices.

Further information about these research projects is on TILES Research - Projects, The projects are  - The Effectiveness of Forensic Science in the Criminal Justice System, Interfaces 1 - Interfaces between science, medicine and law enforcement and Interfaces 2 - Dismantling the Justice Silos: Mapping the interactions between forensic science, medicine and law in adult and child sexual assault cases.
