National awards for the PASS programAngela Gillie and Elizabeth Murray with their awards

UTAS PASS Leaders have been presented with 2008 Peer Leader Achievement Awards in Recognition of Excellence and Contribution to Student Learning.

Angela Gillie and Elizabeth Murray are two of seven recipients nationally who were presented with these inaugural awards during October at the National PASS Forum held at the University of Sydney. Elizabeth is a Psychology PASS Leader in Hobart and Angela is an Anatomy and Physiology PASS Leader in Launceston. The judges commented on the strength of the applicants overall and we should be very proud that our very young PASS program has such a high standard of leaders.

Jane Skalicky, PASS Program Coordinator.
