UTAS Cradle Coast Campus call for creative projects

The UTAS Cradle Coast Campus is inviting artists, designers, writers and artisans to apply for its 2014 Artist in Residence Program.

Now in its fourth year, the program offers local, national and international artists up to $5000 for arts projects with relevance to the North-west Tasmanian community:

  • Cultural and industrial heritage
  • Relationship with the landscape

Up to $5000 AUD is provided to support travel, accommodation, living expenses and the production of work, up to a maximum of four weeks.

Artists may choose to work from the University campus or at a self-initiated location within the region. Submissions seeking to engage directly with the campus are encouraged.

Applications for the $5000 residency can be downloaded from the Campus website.
