How to get in and requirements

If you're worried about getting into the course you want, you can include upgrading pathways when you apply for a course. Upgrading pathways are alternative courses that you can study to improve your chances of getting into your chosen course. For advice on the right upgrading pathway, please contact our student recruitment advisers.

If you're a mature-age student, you might be able to get into your chosen course based on past school, TAFE, college or university results, or work experience.

What if I change my mind about my course?

If you start a course and decide that it's not for you, you can always change your degree. You may even be able to get academic credit for subjects you've already completed.

Talk to staff in your faculty as soon as possible to avoid academic or financial penalties.

What if I don't get into the course I want?

There are options to help you get into the course you want to study. You could upgrade through a degree course or diploma, or apply for a special entry program.
