Introduction

In this unit, you will be introduced to the principles of primary health, preventative health and health promotion and how they inform the design and delivery of support. You will develop an understanding of case management, care coordination, service navigation and the strategies, methods, frameworks, tools and domains of action used to engage with and advocate for individuals and diverse groups. Skills in research, communication, planning and evaluation will be developed to support your ability to mitigate challenges, and to co-design, interpret and deliver evidence-based plans for promoting health and wellbeing.
