Pip Leedham was appointed to University Council in January 2012.
Based in Launceston Pip has held a range of senior management positions in the Department of Health & Human Services for over 15 years with both operational and policy development responsibilities, and is currently the Director Community & Rural Health Reform. She represents the Department on the Board of the University Department of Rural Health as well as a number of national health reform committees.
From 1996- 2006 Pip was a member of the Australian Hospitals and Healthcare Association Council and for a period of time held the position of national vice-president.
Pip has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania and a Masters of Business
Administration from the University of New England. Previous Board appointments include the Tasmanian Institute of Sport Board.
