Career Development and Employment are launching a new program for UTAS students in 2010, which will enable students to develop their employability skills and an understanding of their own leadership potential, in order to build their confidence in making the transition from university to the world of work
Commencing in semester 1, the Vice-Chancellor’s Leadership Award requires selected students to participate in a seminar series involving speakers from a wide variety of community and academic settings, complete 40 hours of volunteer work, and contribute to a phased process of self-reflection and personal development.
Full details of the program can be found at www.utas.edu.au/leadership-award
