Located alongside the North Esk River and adjacent to Launceston CBD, TCotA (Inveresk) is at the heart of the Inveresk Cultural Precinct, a thriving arts and design hub.
The Academy of the Arts is home to TCotA (Inveresk) and the Tasmanian Polytechnic and together we are housed in the historic Stone Building, an award-winning reuse and adaption of the Launceston Railway Workshops. The Tasmanian College of the Arts (Inveresk) has modern, light-filled, spacious studios, and each discipline has their own specially designed facilities.
TCotA (Inveresk)’s neighbours in the precinct are the world-renowned Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, the UTAS School of Architecture & Design, Tasmanian Polytechnic and the City Campus School, all enhanced by a vibrant café culture and artistic scene.
