Performance, Visual Art, Design and Architecture students from the Inveresk Precinct are encouraged to enter their work into the Inveresk Green Precinct Art Prize & Exhibition. The work must engage, promote, discuss, explore or encompass an understanding of environmental sustainability and creativity. With a prize pool of $4500, entries can be demonstrated though the mediums of design, architecture, visual art or performance.
The exhibition is open to all UTAS and Polytechnic students studying at the Inveresk Cultural Precinct.
Entries will be judged by Professor Stephen Loo, Professor of Architecture, School of Architecture & Design, UTAS, Peter Hammond, Deputy Head of School of Visual and Performing Arts, UTAS and Dr. Jane Deeth, Polytechnic teacher and curator.
Prizes will be announced at the exhibition opening 5 - 6.30pm Friday 23 September 2011 at the Academy Gallery as part of Sustainable Inveresk: Green Precinct Open Days 23-24 September 2011.
Entries close Thursday 4th August.
