Something Natural But Very Childish
(based on the short stories of Katherine Mansfield)
Written by Gary Abrahams
Directed by Georgie Todman
‘Three couples and a piano teacher probe the gap between the idea of romantic love and the messier experience.’ Gary Abrahams' Something Natural But Very Childish is an intimate ensemble piece based on short stories by Katherine Mansfield. It weaves moments from these stories together, creating a rich tapestry that darts and falls around three pairs of would-be lovers in Edwardian England, and the bitter hope that keeps them bound to each other.
