Fernando do Campo is an artist, writer and curator based in Tasmania. do Campo is a graduate of the SVPA, UTAS and the SofA, ANU, Canberra. He has been be the recipient in numerous awards, including in 2012; a studio residency at the Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris, an Arts Tasmania Individual’s grant, an Artstart grant and an AusCo Jump Mentorship with Paul O’Neill (UK). During 2013 he will be artist in residence through BMUKK, Vienna, Austria. He is currently represented by Handmark Gallery, Hobart.
Fernando do Campo is presented as part of the Academy Gallery / NEW Gallery Ignition Program. The Ignition Program aims to facilitate the national awareness of Tasmania’s emerging artist’s, craftspeople and designers with a specific emphasis on those within the initial five years of their career.
