Understanding cultural diversity is the theme of this exhibition. The work of grade 10 students from Tasmanian high schools explores cultural diversity as it applies to them. The work expresses the way in which grade 10 students understand the complexity of cultural diversity and the role that understanding cultural differences can promote positive relationships at a personal and community level.
This exciting project is a joint initiative of the NEW Gallery, the Pro-Vice Chancellor's office and the Faculty of Education Global Education program. As part of the University of Tasmania's community outreach program, this exhibition will be displayed in coordination with Harmony Day 2013.
