Normal minimum university entry requirements apply for admission to the Bachelor of Contemporary Arts (BCA).
Applicants who have passed subjects or units, in other approved tertiary institutions, or have followed an approved PATHWAY program may have their previous studies credited towards their degree. In such cases the College will clearly specify what units are required to complete to qualify for the Bachelor of Contemporary Arts.
Applicants will be required to attend an audition and interview (overseas and interstate applicants may submit a DVD of a recent performance. Auditions are held in late November – early December. Completion of TCE Speech and Drama is desirable but not essential.
Applicants are expected to attend a consultative meeting with samples of recent artwork (which may include DVD, CD, photographs or video). If you are unable to attend a brief statement outlining interest in the course, including any relevant experience of qualifications, should be provided including a sample of recent art work. Completion of TCE Art, Craft and Design is desirable but not essential.
