The University invests significant effort, time and funding into building the UTAS brand.
It is imperative that our advertising is delivered in a professional manner, consistent with the strategies of our brand management. For this reason, the University has two advertising agencies who handle the booking, placement and production of all UTAS advertising and UTAS staff must direct their advertising bookings accordingly.
The following provides information and guidance for staff in relation to advertising. If you require further advice or assistance please contact Jo Bailey (Director of Marketing).
The University maintains an integrated marketing campaign for brand awareness, positioning and the purpose of recruiting all domestic students for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs which is managed by the Director of Marketing. The campaign covers an extensive range of activities including school programs, Polytechnic visits, national career expos and more. A component of the campaign is the domestic advertising presence, covering print media, television, cinema, outdoor, digital and special event marketing.
Any advertising undertaken for the purpose of recruiting domestic students must align with the University’s current advertising campaign, which is presently handled by Red Jelly.
To ensure consistency in advertising on a national and international level, a template has been developed for Graduate Research advertising in press and publications. In particular, this template must be used for advertising that is aimed at attracting new HDR candidates, including the promotion of scholarships.
Bookings for the Graduate Research advertisements can be made through Red Jelly, and copies must be provided to the Graduate Research Office prior to publication.
Should you require any assistance or advise, please contact the Marketing Office in the first instance, and also copy Gail.Reardon@utas.edu.au in the Graduate Research Office.
