Skills needed to deploy the WVS

Adopting the new design is not as hard as most may think as there are some migration options available to adopt the new design. Two different types of skillsets are needed to adopt the new design:

  • Editing and creation skills
  • Migration skills.

Editing and creation skills

Editing and creation skills require a basic knowledge of Dreamweaver and html, although training is available from IT Training Online. Some of skills needed include a basic knowledge of the following:

  • Dreamweaver
  • stylesheets and how they work
  • templates
  • library items
  • html.

Migration skills

Migration skills are more extensive than those above in that you need to understand Dreamweaver queries and have the ability to manually trawl though HTML code for errors. This means a higher level of skill is needed and the time taken to complete a migration without these skills could be dramatically increased.

If you require more detailed information on skill requirements please contact IT Resources and they will direct your queries to the relevent person.
