Co-Directors' Message
Thank you to those people who have already kindly donated to our iRemember Community Project Appeal. This project fits well as part of our Wicking Centre education program, as we aim to dispel the stigma of dementia, sharing information about Alzheimer’s disease (being the most common form of dementia) and about our research findings in best practice care for all symptoms of this life-limiting illness.
Feature Project
We are about to embark with Alzheimer's Australia Tas on conducting personal interviews with people with dementia about the efficacy of our memory cases (the iRemember community project). Would you like to donate to support the cost of carrying out this rewarding research in the community? When completed by the end of this year, the great bonus will be that the best possible iRemember cases will then be made available for loan from the Museum from early 2013 – a free community resource for the benefit and enjoyment of people with dementia and their carers throughout Tasmania.
