The quality of leadership more than any other single factor determines the success of an organisation. Research has demonstrated a relationship between effective leadership and clinical outcomes, staff retention, satisfaction of residents, families and staff, census and enhanced financials. This session will examine the leadership model "SERVICE", focusing on effective organisational culture to secure staff, enhance satisfaction and engagement with the result of monetary savings. Implementation strategies and research demonstrating the value of this approach will be shared.
