- With Dr Alison Canty and Prof Jeff Summers - a new project commencing in 2013 looking at the effects of transcranial magnetic stimulation on motor skill learning. This project involves advanced in vivo imaging experiments in transgenic mice to directly examine changes in synaptic plasticity (widely believed to be important in aging and dementia)
- With Prof Adrian West - various projects investigating novel therapeutic agents in animal models of Alzheimer's, and also investigating novel biomarkers for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's.
Dr Bennett is a co-supervisor for Ms Emma Eaton, a PhD student on these projects.
