Biography
Dr Annear's research background is diverse and includes a range of health and environmental studies. The majority of his work in the last seven years has been undertaken with older adults as project collaborators within an action research framework. In his recent PhD research, Michael explored the interactions between ageing, local environment, and health behaviours. He also explored the psychological and behavioural outcomes of the 2010 and 2011 Christchurch earthquakes among a population of older adults.
