Biography

Dr Lucas worked in a diverse range of health and community services positions, in government, community-based and private sector organisations. He taught a sociology unit to nursing and paramedic students at UTAS. He completed his PhD in 2011.

Research Interests

• Qualitative research.
• Disadvantaged and marginalised population groups.
• Health and social policy.
