It makes sense to plan ahead and put your affairs in order and, when writing your will, you may think about the valuable research the Wicking Centre carries out, and needs support for, in its quest to prepare Tasmania and Australia for the increased number of people with dementia. Help us make a difference.
Suggested words for your bequest:
“I give devise bequeath and appoint the sum of $xxxxxx [insert amount or percentage of my estate or the remainder of my estate] to the University of Tasmania for the purposes of conducting dementia research and related educational activities in Tasmania. If at any time the University of Tasmania determines that it is impossible to carry out the stated purpose then the University may apply the bequest for such purpose or purposes as the University determined most closely accords with the original stated purpose.”
Executive Officer Caroline Gray would be happy to hear if you have intentions to bequeath to the Wicking Centre, or if you would like to find out more about the research we carry out at the Wicking Centre, please call Caroline Gray, under no obligation, on 03 6226 4750.
