Development of an evidence-based online resource package to improve staff-family relationships for people with dementia living in residential aged care
This project addresses the Consumer Dementia Research Network (CDRN) priority area: support for carers of people with dementia. The project will:
- Translate a clinical guideline into practice using a suite of evidence-based person-centred resources and an education program to support collaborative staff-family relationships in the residential aged care setting.
- Evaluate the resources.
- Use the outcomes of the evaluation to provide a nationally-applicable evidence-based online resource package and a series of workshops.
The target group for this project are the family carers of people with dementia living in residential aged care (RAC).
