The Work4Dementia Project originated from Dr Elliott's (nee Murray) PhD, which was sponsored by TIME for Dementia, the Tasmanian and Victorian Dementia Study Centre, Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre (WDREC) and University of Tasmania.
From 2009-2012 the Work4Dementia Project was supported by the Tasmanian Home and Community Care Program (HACC), a jointly funded State and Australian Government program, as well as Tasmanian branches of Alzheimer's Australia, Carers Australia and Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre – Community Base Support South.
The project has been extended to conduct an online survey of the Australian aged and dementia care workforce on their adjustment to high job demands. For more information contact the project team on +61 3 6226 2657 or email Work4Dementia.Project@utas.edu.au.
We are currently seeking participants for the online survey. Refer to Online Survey for more information.
The Work4Dementia Project is funded by the University of Tasmania’s Research Enhancement Grants Scheme.
