Course Structure
The Dementia Care Learning Pathway is a flexible course of study that offers the option to exit with an Associate Degree after two years of full-time study, or a Bachelor Degree after three years of full-time study.
To enrol in the Bachelor of Dementia Care:
- You must be interested in dementia or working in aged care.
- You must be willing to devote approximately 6 hours per week for each unit of study.
- You must be able to access a personal computer, current software and a reliable connection to the internet.

Assist students in preparation for tertiary study with an introduction to online technology, communication and basic biology (Some students may be successful in attaining credit for some or all of these units). |
Introduces students to the normal ageing process, how this differs from ageing with dementia and how various therapies are used to help people with dementia.
