Emergency Incident Management (EIM) needs to be clearly defined: who will be available (both during and outside normal working hours) to prevent, prepare for, respond to critical incidents, the procedures for contacting these people needs to be clearly displayed around the workplace and available to all staff. Changes to these nominations and procedures must be kept up to date.
Property Services (PS) coordinate a number of related essential services including fire system maintenance, the annual Building Maintenance Statement and Fire Warden Training. Further information is available at the Property Services website, refer Emergency Management Contacts and Procedures.
A list of current Fire Wardens is available on the Property Services website located "View database of emergency wardens for UTAS buildings" To advise of changes to the Warden Listings, please contact Heather Knibbs on +61 3 6226 7183.
